The link below was sent by a U.S. radio school.
It looks interesting but I do not know them and take no responsibility for their reliability.
They describe themselves thus:
"Radio Connection: a broadcast industry school with 5,000 students worldwide who train on-site at major radio and TV stations, recording studios and video production companies."
I urge anyone wishing to enrol to make their own, exhaustive checks.
Please send feedback.

I love radio.  I enjoy broadcasting and I enjoy listening.

Someone once said that the pictures were better on radio. In many cases that's true.   Human imagination will always outstrip human ingenuity.  It has to.  Imagination is what takes our minds out of the mud, to the stars. Ingenuity is what drags our bodies along behind.

I took the usual route through hospital radio and then went on to present a regular programme on Three Counties Radio.

Since then I have also worked on several community radio projects.

I am passionate about radio, which I think is a medium so well used that people do not realise exactly how important it is, especially the broadcasters themselves who constantly underrate its power.

I am most concerned with the lack of children's radio and am the children's radio representative on the Children's Committee of the Writers' Guild of Great Britain.  I am trying to convince the BBC that they should re-instate regular children's broadcasting.  It is an uphill and discouraging task.
